IF THEY’RE HUNGRY KILL THEM

“I love koalas… but if they’re found to be surplus, the most humane thing to do is to kill them.”
Dr. Desley Whisson, Deakin University wildlife and conservation biologist

ALMOST 700 KOALAS HAVE BEEN SECRETLY KILLED BY LETHAL INJECTION near Victoria’s Great Ocean Road and thousands more are in danger of starvation due to an ongoing crisis caused by overpopulation in one of the nation’s key habitats. The Australian can reveal that wildlife officials conducted three euthanasia operations in 2013 and 2014 to kill 686 koalas, in what was a covert campaign to avoid any backlash from green groups and the community.

Why don’t they kill hungry humans if death is a solution for starvation? Shame on them.

  1. There’s a sickness that infects many human animals and the symptoms mean death for beings near them. Destroying beauty is monstrous and attempting to justify it simply compounds the horror.

    • I couldn’t agree more, what right has this person and the others involved to kill these animals. It is a sickness which sadly people like this find just too easy to justify.
