Firstly please note the following concerning this blog
I have not been posting to this blog now for many months with the exception of one entry in November which was accidentally published as a result of being scheduled to do so automatically. There are a number of reasons, many of them personal and not really suitable to explain within the context of a blog of this nature .Hopefully I am back on-line for a while but posts are unlikely to be regular after the publishing of the ones which I have written previously. Some of these posts which I hope to publish in the next few days or weeks may seem a little out of date, but who knows I often get comments from posts published as much as four years ago.
Apologies for not visiting follower’s blogs which I hope to do in the very near future or not responding to or publishing comments, all of which I hope to rectify as soon as possible. My first post after this long absence concerns Brexit, if you agree please read, sign and share the petition and take other suggested actions, this may be the last opportunity to have your say
Petition to stop Brexit
Right now here in the UK there is much mayhem concerning Brexit. UK residents only may sign.
Please sign the following petition if you consider that the UK should remain in the EU.
Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU.
The government repeatedly claims exiting the EU is ‘the will of the people’. We need to put a stop to this claim by proving the strength of public support now, for remaining in the EU. A People’s Vote may not happen – so vote now.
This may be your only opportunity to have your say as the government flatly refuse to have another referendum. Another people’s vote should take place as so much has changed and many people now think differently about leaving the EU
There are over 2 million signatures so far, if you agree please add yours and share widely. The more signatures the better of course.
The government are meant to consider debating all petitions that get more than 10,000 signatures.
Also consider writing to your MP and urge him or her to support this petition or call for a referendum:

The Put It To The People march on 23 March will make the case for more democracy impossible to ignore
Brexit is a crisis on a scale that far surpasses our last major international embarrassment, in Suez in 1956. Economically, politically, culturally, diplomatically and in terms of security, leaving the European Union is an unprecedented disaster that will send the United Kingdom on an inescapable downwards trajectory.
